Affiliate recruiting is a tough business. There are plenty of potential affiliates out there, but how can you reach them? The aggressive approach is perhaps the most effective approach for the vast majority of affiliate recruiting. It is nothing short of a double edged assault on the senses.

Bring in the Traffic

This is best accomplished with highly targeted advertising. You can drive a small amount of traffic through social networking, posting on forums and so on, but the most effective way to get people on side is to get them to listen to, read or see your pitch.

Push your Product

Landing pages are required for this task. Don’t beat around the bush. Your affiliate program is great, why is it great? Why do people love being affiliated with your company? How much can they make? There is no limit to their passive earning potential. You get the idea, landing pages are about the hard sell approach, not the soft sell. They are an assault on the senses but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Throwing in some sound clips or a video does not go astray, but remember you want highly optimized content. Most people will hate the look of a landing page, but they serve a purpose. They move products and help to recruit affiliates like there is no tomorrow.
