Microsoft Breaks into Affiliate Marketing

Just to give you affiliate program managers a bit of inspiration and to give those of you doubters an idea of how big affiliate marketing is, we are pleased to announce that Microsoft has thrown their hat into the ring. This is sure to be a massive boost for 5 Star Affiliate Programs who are running the service for them. At the moment, affiliates will be marketing Windows Live OneCare, or Microsoft Ad Center, but there are plans to incorporate other products over the upcoming year.

It is not clear how much they will be paying and it is likely to be subject to change as they tweak the system. Their affiliate marketing program is in Beta stage now, so expect some changes as they find the right balance. Microsoft will provide you with a range of banners and other marketing materials to use on your website, so all you have to do is to sign up and to copy and paste a little bit of code.
